Age restriction — strictly enforced
18+ Minimum age requirement
All Skywine services — including wine tours, tastings, and product purchases — are available exclusively to individuals of legal drinking age. This is 18 years in most jurisdictions; local thresholds apply. Skywine reserves the right to request proof of age at any point, including upon delivery of goods or at the start of a travel experience. Bookings or purchases made on behalf of minors will be cancelled without refund.
01 — Acceptance of terms
By visiting the Skywine website, creating an account, booking a wine travel experience, or purchasing products through our platform, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services. Skywine reserves the right to update these terms at any time; we will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the platform following any amendments constitutes your acceptance.
02 — Our services
Skywine operates as a dual-service platform combining curated wine travel experiences with a premium online wine shop. Our offerings include:
- Guided wine trips, vineyard tours, and tasting experiences at destinations worldwide
- Curated wine selections available for purchase and home delivery
- Personalised recommendations from our in-house wine specialists
- Editorial content including tasting notes, destination guides, and producer profiles
- Gift vouchers and corporate experience packages
All travel experiences are operated in partnership with local providers and host vineyards. Skywine acts as the booking intermediary and is responsible for the curation and quality assurance of listed experiences.
03 — Account registration
Certain features of the platform require you to register for a Skywine account. You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information at registration and to keep your details current. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted through your account. Notify us immediately at hello@skywine.vin if you suspect any unauthorised access.
Skywine may suspend or terminate accounts that are found to be fraudulent, in breach of these terms, or associated with misrepresentation of age or identity.
04 — Wine trip bookings
All wine travel experiences listed on Skywine are subject to availability and confirmation by our team or the experience provider. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of our confirmation email and payment in full. Prices are inclusive of all stated inclusions; any additional expenses (flights, transfers, accommodation unless specified) remain the responsibility of the traveller.
Important: All participants must be of legal drinking age and must carry valid identification for verification at the experience. Skywine and its partners reserve the right to refuse entry or participation if this requirement is not met, with no entitlement to refund.
Skywine curates and vets all listed experiences but is not the direct operator. We are not liable for changes to itineraries, cancellations, or quality issues caused by the local provider, though we will always work to find a suitable resolution on your behalf.
05 — E-commerce & orders
All product orders are subject to availability. By placing an order you make an offer to purchase; a binding contract is formed only upon dispatch confirmation from Skywine. Prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We accept major credit and debit cards and selected digital payment methods.
In the event of a pricing error, Skywine reserves the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund. Subscription orders will be billed automatically on the agreed cycle until cancelled in accordance with section 07.
06 — Delivery & shipping
Skywine ships to selected countries. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or customs processing. All deliveries of alcohol require a signature from an individual of legal drinking age at the stated address. We cannot deliver to unattended premises or where age cannot be verified.
- Standard delivery: 3–5 business days
- Express delivery: 1–2 business days (selected regions)
- International orders: timelines vary by destination
Risk and title in the goods pass to you upon delivery. Skywine bears no responsibility for delays or losses arising from incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.
07 — Cancellations & refunds
Wine trips
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the experience date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations between 15–30 days prior will receive a 50% refund or a credit note. No refund is available for cancellations within 14 days of the experience. Skywine strongly recommends travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
E-commerce
Returns are accepted only where products are damaged, defective, or materially different from those described. Claims must be submitted within 14 days of delivery with supporting photographic evidence. Opened products cannot be returned unless confirmed faulty. Subscription cancellations must be submitted at least 5 business days prior to the next billing date.
08 — Conduct & responsibilities
Participants in Skywine travel experiences are expected to conduct themselves respectfully toward hosts, guides, fellow travellers, and vineyard staff. Skywine and its partners reserve the right to remove any individual from an experience, without refund, if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or in breach of local laws. This includes conduct under the influence of alcohol beyond reasonable limits as determined by the experience provider.
You are responsible for ensuring that you meet any health, fitness, or mobility requirements stated for a particular experience at the time of booking.
09 — Intellectual property
All content on the Skywine platform — including but not limited to the brand identity, editorial photography, tasting notes, destination guides, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of Skywine or its licensors. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written consent.
10 — Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skywine shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or participation in any experience. Our total liability in relation to a specific booking or order shall not exceed the amount paid for that booking or order. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11 — Privacy & data
Skywine processes your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the platform. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Data shared with experience providers or delivery partners is limited to what is strictly necessary to fulfil your booking or order.
12 — Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Skywine is registered. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, save where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
For any questions regarding these terms, please contact us at hello@skywine.vin.
